This test chamber is mainly used to determine the protection level of products against fine dust intrusion. The machine is strictly manufactured in accordance with the provisions of IP5/IP6 in the protection level test in IEC 60529:2013, and it is a test to inspect the sealing performance. The sample is exposed to a dust - containing airflow with a concentration of non - abrasive fine dust with a size of less than 75um. This method does not simulate the natural environment or the induced environment. In this test, a downward vertical airflow is specified. For the casing of a specific grade, the internal pressure is lower than the external air pressure to promote the intrusion of dust. The amount of dust should ensure a high and uniform dust concentration. To this end, the test chamber is equipped with a dust blowing device for stirring the test dust, which stirs the dust and blows it into the sealed test chamber. According to the agreement and relevant regulations, the vacuum device for the IP5 dust - proof test sample is an optional device, and the IP6 and La2 dust - proof test samples should be connected to a vacuum pump to pump the inside of the sample, so that the airflow in the dust - proof test chamber enters the sample through gaps, casings or other similar components. The pressure pipeline is provided with a regulating valve and a monitoring vacuum pressure gauge, and a gas flowmeter is installed to measure the pumping rate. The dust settled at the bottom of the test chamber is recycled. In order to prevent the dust from adhering to the inner wall of the chamber and reducing the dust concentration in the chamber, the bottom of the chamber is set in a funnel shape, and a dust shaking device is configured to facilitate dust recovery. The dust shaking cycle and time are controlled according to the instructions output by the central controller. The volume of the sample shall not exceed 25% of the internal volume of the test chamber, and the sample base shall not exceed 50% of the working horizontal area of the test chamber.
